Yay, Fister is back, praise all that is holy. Well.. it didn't really go down like that. Fister was on a pitch count, and threw 92 just get through 4, but he only walked 1 and gave up 5 hits. Hell, he's just back from rehab starts, so not too much could be expected right off the back. Though I would like to point out that Fister did more with 4 innings, than Ian Snell/Luke French were doing in his place. Also, 3 runs came on an error-aided inside the park home run that Corey Hart hit deep to centerfield, kind of freak accident offensive play.
Then, Brian Sweeney took over in the 5th and shutout the Brew Crew for 4, turning it over to Brandon League for the save. Wow, an effective bullpen pitcher! Sweet!
Meanwhile, both Lopez and Bradley went yard to bring in 3 while Gutierrez and Johnson tallied some too. Good, solid game.
PLAYER OF THE GAME:
Brian Sweeney, who gave up a single hit over 4 innings, K'd 4 and has 0.00 ERA and 0.25 WHIP through his first 4 innings as a reliever. Oh, and a W!
