Once again, the bullpen blew this one. Up 7-6 with 2 outs away from victory, David Aardsma served up a 3 run shot to Howie Kendrick. It should have been in the bag, but another one got away.
Offensively, Eliezer Alfonzo, recently called up to replace Josh Bard, went 3 for 5 in his first game as a Mariner with a 3 run homer in the 4th. Everyone got a hit, but Bradley, though he still managed to score. Pitching was ugly on both sides, as both staffs gave up 16 combined walks.
PLAYER OF THE GAME:
Alfonzo. If he hits well and Bard comes back strong, Johnson and Moore may have to worry about their jobs.
