Of course, the biggest piece of news surrounds Mariners pitcher Cliff Lee and the timetable of his return. Lee has progressed at a good pace with his throws and hopes to throw a simulated game next week. He also had a two hour conference call with the league stating his case in order to appeal his suspension for throwing at Chris Snyder during spring training. While no one is sure on a specific return date, especially since the suspension hasn't been decided, it's sounding like early May may be the time to expect him pitching for the M's.
