1 run. That's all the best hitting team in the National League managed against the Mariners in this 3 game sweep. Of course, Lee and Felix had the stuff, but RYAN FREAKIN' ROWLAND-SMITH?
Finally, the Aussie picked up his first win of the season, but it wasn't pretty. On 106 pitches to get through 6 innings, Rowland-Smith only allowed 3 hits, but gave up 5 walks. Nonetheless, it was enough with League and Aardsma shutting it down from there on.
The only run came from Guti sacking a fly to bring in Figgs.
PLAYER OF THE GAME:
A bit of Jekyll and Hyde, but Rowland-Smith prevailed.
