Well Fister, who had only given up a couple of homers to this point, gave up 3 tonight. He managed to get 7 innings under his belt again, but the homers kept the M's just out of winning distance.
Offensively, there were 10 hits, with Josh Wilson picking up 3 of them, Lopez, Guti, and Figgy each with 2, and Ichi with 1. Bradley had few Rbis despite not reaching base. A close game, but no cigar.
PLAYER OF THE GAME:
Josh Wilson, the fill-in that is truly making it easier to wait on Jack Wilson's return from the DL. When's the last time an M's shortstop hit .300 or better? Oh yeah, A-rod.
